I've got nothing to say about anything

I am currently feeling empty.

Oh , I thought of something.... Happy Christmas to all who knew me.

I have met a nice South African

Last Friday I had my first fillings at the dentist. They were cosmetic fillings as my super teeth had somehow managed to stop and partially reverse the decay. The dentist ( who was South African) asked me if I wanted an injection. I didn't know really. Anyway , I declined his generous offer and felt vindicated during the procedure as the pain was hardly unbearable. After it was finished the nice dentist man complemented me on my unflinching handle of the pain. My reply was two fold "I've had worse" and even better "thanks, I feel more of a man now".
I appreciate in hindsight that I might have appeared to be a bit of an arse. If so I apologise for my behaviour. I just felt so pleased that it was over and that there were , at that moment , no adverse effects.
I look forward to part two of my Dentist visits...... The Hygienist.

Crystal Ball.Com Rules

As most of you are aware , I work for a Bookmaker. It is a very interesting job which provides me with large doses of entertainment served up with a side Hilarity Salad.
Just recently (please don't read any more of this if you are bored) there have been some interesting UEFA cup games being played involving Greek Teams. Now I know (because I have been reliably informed by my Bubble mate Georgos) that the Greek Football league is almost as corrupt as Serie B (Italian 2nd Division). For those who are aware of the made up ( Ha Ha I get it. Made up ... thats Mafia talk) Italian 2nd Division , and the disgraceful acts of match fixing which go on, you will be surprised that any other league could even come close to levels of corruption in Italy. However, apparently the Greeks are beginning to make a real challenge for the title of Dirtiest, Dodgiest match fixing cheats. Now I appreciate that not all Greeks and Italians condone this sort of behaviour. Quite the opposite. Most of these nationals would like to see our beautiful game rid of such underhand antics. Unfortunately, these scenarios have once again reared their ugly heads in the past week. The first was an extremely dodgy game between Panionios (Greek) and Dinamo Tblisi (Georgia). This is where it might get complicated for those who don't understand gambling and or football.
As I was saying, Crystalball.com predicted Halftime Tblisi Full time Panionios (About 28/1) and correct scores of 3-2 (33/1) and 4-2 (50/1) Panionios. The first part was a winner but Panionios actually won the game 5-2 so unfortunately the correct scores were wrong. Tough Luck.
Tonight the game between Lazio (not known for their corruption) and Egaleo (what do you know, they're Greek too) is once again tipped up by Crystalball.com. as Half time Egaleo Full time Lazio (28/1) and correct scores of Lazio 3-0 (20/1) and Lazio 4-1 (40-1). This game is being played later. I can't wait to see if Crystalball.com has got it right again. Good Luck to all those of you who are bent enough to have a crack yourselves. I am taking a moral stand. Ok , so I couldn't get on. WANK
Oh and by the way, UEFA have just anounced that they are looking into allegations of match fixing in the Panionios game. Who would have thought it

The Best TOTP moment Ever!!!

On a recent Holiday with my friends in Portugal last summer I had a conversation with my friend and yours Kath Leyland (http://mauriceently.blogspot.com/) regarding our favourite Top of the Pops moments. My favourite moment was Becks debut (Loser). If you can't remember it let me remind you. His band consisted of about 4 members all of which were like 150 years old and towards the end of his performance he began to attempt the worst display of break dancing that I have ever seen. I laughed my Socks off.
Kath prefers Dexy's Midnight Runners performance of Jackie Wilson said.
Now I don't believe there was anything strange about the performance itself but the very fact that a Photo of the Legendary Darts player Jockie Wilson was behind them has constantly made me laugh ever since.

Now I know that there are very few people in this world who are aware of this Blog but anyone who does visit this site is very welcome to enter their all time favs. I look forward to the pittiful response I expect.
