A while ago, I posted How d'you like them apples. It was a post which simply listed anything to do with Brighton.
Only X was clever enough to guess what the post was about, but even the boy genius couldn't guess why.
The simple reason for this post is that me and Super Lisa (Some of you might know as Thistle Bright) are moving away from the sleepy little village in Hampshire down to Brighton.
Super Lisa already has a job in Eastbourne and so will be moving down in a couple of weeks whereas I am still to obtain employment on the Coast.
Anyway, on Saturday I told my current employers that I was leaving but that unless a stonking job came up in Brighton I would be staying at Stan James for the next 3 or 4 months.
Because this helps them out (allows them time to train up my replacement) they have agreed to my proposal.
This is good because it buys me some time so that I can wait for the right job at the right wages to come out.
This is bad because myself and Super Lisa will see even less of each other over the coming months.
This is good coz I get to lodge with my good friend David Jones and do some University type blokey things.
This is bad coz because I'll miss not living with my girlfriend.
This is good coz I'll still be being paid a good wage.
This is bad coz I wanna be back on the coast.
This is good coz there is now light at the end of the tunnel. Soon I won't have to work late nights or weekends.
This is bad coz I'm leaving a job I love and I know a lot about.
This is good coz there's now light at the end of the tunnel.
This is great coz I'll be starting a new and hopefully exciting career.
So, the reason for this post is threefold.
1. To get my fellow bloggers off my back by actually posting for once.
2. To let my faithful following (27 at last count) know about the changes in my life.
3. To advertise the fact that I need a job down on the Coast so that if anyone reading this who knows a man who can or who has any bright ideas as to how I'm gonna get a job which pays me £18000+.
Although I've enjoyed my time at gambling school and have learned how not to lose money, I just can't wait to leave for the bright lights of London on Sea.
Let it be soon , let it be soon.
